How Placerama Works to Support Your Community
Placerama helps local businesses, community groups and individuals work together to create a stronger community. Here are the key players:
Local Businesses
- Local businesses or individuals (we call them "sponsors") contribute funds to a pool put aside for projects in your community.
- In return, Placerama promotes the top sponsors in your area based on how much they contribute and how close they are to you.

Community Groups
- Community groups are often looking for financial support for projects and services that will benefit some members of your community.
- Placerama will contribute funds from the pool of sponsor funds to these groups based on how much they ask for and how many votes they get from members of their community.
